How to Save Money With Coupons and the Stores Price Match Policy
September 8th, 2009from wikiHow - The How to Manual That You Can Edit
Coupons are great but even better when applied to an item on sale. You can locate coupons anywhere from online, newspapers and one of my favorites the Entertainment book. Another great way to save money is by checking if the store you are going to offers a “Price Match Policy”, which many stores do nowadays, including an additional discount if you find it cheaper elsewhere.
Steps
- Determine the item you are interested in purchasing.
- Do an online search to see if the item is on sale.
- Check if the store you are visiting offers a price match guarantee. You will also have to bring along a copy of the item on sale at another store in order to prove their competitor is offering the same item at a lower cost.
Tips
- Bring a copy of the policy to show the cashier or store manager in case they question the policy.
